Desiree De Spong was born and raised in Dunedin, New Zealand and is in her second decade of work in complimentary medicine and education. Initially trained in Zen Shiatsu, Desiree was introduced to Chapman Reflexes while studying Ortho-Bionomy. This course led her to develop a greater interest in the lymphatic system. After investing in the holistic instrument called the Lymphstar Pro®, she found it so compelling that she began a quest for knowledge that would take her around the world. After travelling to the United States to train with Allen Mills at the Center for Lymphatic Health, Santa Barbara, CA, Desiree began to develop her proficiency in Lymphatic Decongestive Therapy. She returned to the US to study with Cory Carter from Alt Med Services, South Dakota. She has also trained in Manual Lymphatic Drainage with Jill Griffiths from the Weller Institute in Australia. She has been collaborating with the company that developed the Lymphstar Pro, specifically CEO and education director, Lori Sweet of Arcturus Star Products L.L.P. in Colorado.

DesireeRecently, Desiree was welcomed at the World Lymphology Congress in Sydney, Australia, in
September 2009. She met with Neil Pillar, an expert in the study of lymphoedema at Flinders University in
Adelaide. There were over 320 experts and Lymphology professionals ranging from academics, therapists, to basic researchers attending. After joining the Australasian Lymphology Association and submitting an abstract she was invited to present a paper at their conference in May 2010.

Desiree has had successful results treating many health issues ranging from detoxification to autoimmune
conditions. She has found that this form of treatment is effective in reducing breast lumps, improving
fibrocystic conditions, post - mastectomy issues and breast tenderness. She is currently advocating for the Lymphatic Enhancement Technology™ with many groups in the breast cancer field and with her in clinical work and training seminars, and in setting up case study trials. Desiree currently works out of Aleda Health Clinic in Tauranga and Lime Spa in Hamilton, New Zealand. She is currently the only New Zealander to be American trained in this specialized modality.

As the curriculum developer and first trainer for the LET Lymph Enhancement Technology™ course, she is a great asset to the Arcturus Star Products team and vision. Her first USA class in Arizona 2010 was acclaimed a great success. Her strengths are her passion for the work, her tenacity, and her commitment to learning and sharing that knowledge in service to others.
